Our Story

At Next Gen Autos, we’re more than just a small-town dealership; we’re a father-and-son duo carrying on a family tradition that goes back generations.

Joe, known around here as the “Boss Man,” has been working on cars his entire life. The shop itself once belonged to his grandfather, Harold Reed, where Joe spent 15 years by his side learning how to turn a wrench and fix just about anything with wheels. When Harold passed away, Joe stepped in to run the shop at only 17 years old. For years afterward, while raising four children with his wife Amy and working in the construction field, the shop became more of a storage space and a weekend hobby spot.

That all changed when Joe’s youngest son, Blake, developed the same spark for cars. What started as tinkering quickly became a passion; and a way for father and son to connect. Joe taught Blake everything he knew, from buying and fixing cars to flipping them for the next owner. Today, Blake drives a Ford Mustang and dreams of restoring a classic ’65 Mustang alongside his dad.

Together, Joe and Blake founded Next Gen Autos with a clear mission: to bring honest, transparent car sales back to their community. With more than 40 years of combined experience working on cars of all makes and models, they make sure every vehicle goes through a thorough checklist before it hits the lot; including brake service, oil changes, and a complete detail. If they wouldn’t put their own family in it, they won’t sell it.

We’re proud to offer dependable vehicles at fair prices, without the high-pressure sales tactics. Whether you’re looking for a safe first car for a teenager, a reliable daily driver, or something to get you back on the road in a hurry, we’re here to help. Don’t see what you’re after in our current inventory? We’ll help you find it — and we’ll price match to make sure you’re getting the best deal possible.

Come by the shop during business hours, give us a call, or reach out by email, text or social media to find your next car today. At Next Gen Autos, we treat every customer like family; because that’s how this business started, and that’s how it will always be.
